CPD cycle

CPD is a way of planning your development that links learning directly to practice - it will help you keep your skills and knowledge current and prepare you for greater responsibilities. It will also boost your confidence, strengthen your professional credibility and help you become more creative in tackling new challenges.

As a CIPD member, you receive full access to My CPD Map, an online tool which allows you to assess yourself at your current level, or the level you would like to get to, and then download a personalised report with a range of development options to choose from. It also features a card sorter quiz, which if you're new to HR or L&D, will help you understand which specialism you might be well suited to.
