My CPD Map
CPD is a way of planning your development that links learning directly to practice - it will help you keep your skills and knowledge current and prepare you for greater responsibilities. It will also boost your confidence, strengthen your professional credibility and help you become more creative in tackling new challenges.
As a CIPD member, you receive full access to My CPD Map, an online tool which allows you to assess yourself at your current level, or the level you would like to get to, and then download a personalised report with a range of development options to choose from. It also features a card sorter quiz, which if you're new to HR or L&D, will help you understand which specialism you might be well suited to.
CIPD short courses give you and your organisation the knowledge, skills and confidence to implement good-practice HR, L&D and people management practices in your workplace. In Asia, we offer a range of research-backed practical training courses covering HR and L&D, and as a CIPD member, you'll receive a preferential discount.
By attending a CIPD course, you will:
- Build capability in yourself, teams and organisations
- Develop expertise in specific areas of practice

The trainer was outstanding. He combined real life cases with the topics and brought great enthusiasm to the group.
The trainer was inspirational for all of us and encouraged many of us to continue our own development and 'put ourselves out there' which was so refreshing and inspiring. I now feel like I can have an impact in my department and organisation and that I can create positive change.
Very structured and valuable course, trainer’s delivery of material was excellent. The trainer used a very good balance of narration, coaching and giving the groups opportunity to think over, ask questions and discuss within groups.
