The CIPD’s Festival of Work will return this June as a free, in-person event at London Olympia, exploring many aspects of the changing world of work and how we can adapt and respond to create a positive future for people, organisations, the economy and wider society. The CIPD is the professional body for HR, L&D, OD and all people professionals, and has been championing better work and working lives for over 100 years. 

More than 100 thought leaders, HR practitioners, academics, artists and policymakers will join this year's festival. They will share a wide range of expertise and perspectives to spark debate, inspire and offer practical solutions to workplace issues.

Keynote speakers at Festival of Work include acclaimed documentary maker Louis Theroux, who will open the conference with a discussion on managing tension and conflict, and CEO of MOBO Group Kanya King CBE, who will deliver the day one afternoon keynote on the importance of diversity and supporting underprivileged groups. On day two, comic, writer, actor and presenter Katherine Ryan will speak on embracing equality and diversity and empowering yourself.

Attendees will be able to plan their own conference experience to meet their interests, according to the different content streams: learning & development, employee experience, ESG, internal comms, wellbeing, and equality, diversity and inclusion. Session topics include Advances in AI and opportunities and risks, the possibilities of four-day working weeks and flexible working, collaborating on social value initiatives, utilising new technology innovations to enhance L&D, the future of internal comms, and many more.

In addition to the conference sessions, stands on the exhibition floor will feature a broad range of leading product and service providers, as well as many free learning sessions and interactive experiences. The Wellbeing Village is also returning, offering talks and practical advice on all aspects of mental and physical health, with experts on hand to provide individual experiences and interactive workshops.
